Under the alias of 'Dub-bode', Jaidene Veda first began producing and promoting live house events on the Underground house scene and it wasn’t long before the self-promoting songstress developed a diverse audience. After co-producing her first album, Jaidene was featured on several internationally released 12" singles and CD compilations. Her EP, remixed by London's House luminary Pete Heller, landed a spot on Pete Tong's "Essential Buzz Chart" upon release and climbed to no.24 after 9 weeks on the Billboard Club Chart. The producer of ‘Sunday’, Nick Holder, is one of the world's most championed house producers. Holder's music career began in the early '80s when he first started DJing. Later in the decade, he discovered the burgeoning Detroit techno scene only a few hours away from his home in Toronto. Detroit icons like Derrick May and Carl Craig captivated Holder, as did many of the tracks coming from Chicago during the same late-'80s period by producers like Adonis. In the '90s, Holder began producing his own tracks and released 12"s for a number of labels such as Definitive, Stickmen, Hi Bias, Strobe, and Studio K7, the label that released two full-lengths of his in 1997, One Night in the Disco and Back on Track. Furthermore, Holder released many of his productions through NRK, including many of his biggest hits such as "Da Sambafrique”. Holder has gone on to release music on other influential labels like Ministry of Sound, Peppermint Jam and th e infamous Poker Flat recordings. The original track from Veda & Holder is a laid back production with Jaidene’s smooth vocals sitting comfortably on the rolling bass and kick drums. Holder’s trademark production adds a deep house flavor to this release and he goes on to provide a further remix in the form of the ‘Sunday Skool Vocal’. Additional remixes come from Jason B, Halo & Kemal, Conan Liquid, Booker T & new MN2S signings Layabouts all adding their production skills to this single package. The remixes offer something for everyone from the US House style production of Booker T, the Garage feel from Conan Liquid, to the straight up House mix from Layabouts. Another strong package from the MN2S label.
